What You're Actually Buying
"Turnkey" gets used loosely, so here is exactly what we do at each step — and what you do (which is almost nothing).
An engineer comes to the property — usually within the same week — and does the real work of sizing. We measure the shadow-free roof area, note the roof type (RCC, tin or tile changes the mounting structure, not the panels), check for shading from water tanks, parapets and trees through the day, and read your sanctioned load and last few bills. You get an honest system size out of this, not a sales number pulled to fit a target.
From the survey we produce a panel layout, a single-line electrical diagram, the inverter and structure specification, and a generation estimate for your specific roof at Bhopal's ~5.2 peak sun hours. The quote is exact and itemised — you see what the structure, panels, inverter and DISCOM work each cost, not one lump figure.
This is the part people dread and the part we take off your plate. For homes we register the PM Surya Ghar application on the national portal and file the technical feasibility request with MPMKVVCL; for businesses we handle the load sanction, and where a plant needs it, CEIG approval and HT metering coordination. You sign where required and we chase the approvals.
Most systems go up in 3–5 days once the permit clears. The mounting structure is anchored first, then tier-1 panels are strung and wired through the inverter to your board with proper earthing and lightning protection. Cable runs are clipped and routed, not left loose. Your power is cut only for a short, planned window during the board tie-in, and we clean the site before we leave.
We apply for the bidirectional meter, prepare every document, and attend the DISCOM inspection on your behalf — you do not need to take a day off for it. Once the net meter is installed and the system is commissioned, exported units start earning credit on your bill, and for homes we file the commissioning report and bank details that release the subsidy by direct transfer. Net-metering setup typically adds 30–45 days after installation.
After go-live the system needs little, but not nothing. Dust in MP can cost 10–15% of output if panels are left dirty, so cleaning twice a year matters, and the inverter and wiring want a periodic check. Our AMC covers cleaning, inspections and priority response, and daily remote monitoring flags any drop in generation before it would ever show up on your bill.
